No previous horse experience is necessary. Sessions are unmounted (no riding).

This fun short course has been designed for those who would like to learn the basics about horses & horse care.

Includes some theory work as well as plenty of fun, hands on learning with like-minded individuals.

Each week will focus on a different area of horse care:

• Understanding Body Language & Safety (inc. Catching & Leading)

• Basic Horse Anatomy and Grooming

• Feeding, Rugging and Illness​

• Fun-filled recap of all we have learnt!

 

Not only will your child learn lots about horses, but they will also build on their own skill set, including:

• Problem Solving

• Teamwork 

• Effective Communication

• Self Confidence

Duration:​ 4 x 1hr  |. Cost: $220 inc GST ($55 per session) per person​
