What is Horse Powered Reading® & Maths?
Horse Powered Reading® & Maths integrates social-emotional learning with academics; thus allowing students to see and experience reading with their entire mind, body and emotions by creating metaphors for the skills involved in literacy & numeracy.

Students interact with horses from the ground, while using toys and props to identify obstacles and learn critical skills.

Horse Powered Reading® and Maths focuses on the learning process for the individual and builds upon children’s natural curiosity and determination.
One-on-One Sessions
(One-off or Recurring)
Suitable for ages 6+
Each session is tailored to the individual.
No previous horse experience is necessary. Sessions are unmounted (no riding).
Duration:​ 1hr |. Cost: $115 inc GST (one-off) or $105 inc GST per session (when purchased in blocks of 3 or more)
Please note, although a one-off session will still be beneficial, a minimum of 6 sessions is recommended.
The initial session will primarily be an assessment, allowing us to assess the participant's strengths and weaknesses, creating a plan for future sessions.

Group Sessions | 2-4 Participants
(Weekly over 6 weeks)
Suitable for ages 8+
Each session is tailored to the group, taking into account each individuals needs.
No previous horse experience is necessary. Sessions are unmounted (no riding).
Duration:​ 6 x 1hr |. Total cost: $460 inc GST (per person)
